Ítem Acceso Abierto Modelo de inteligencia de negocios para los departamentos de Crédito y Captaciones de la Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito "Achik Inti"(Universidad Católica de Cuenca, 2023) Lema Yuquilema, Johnatan David; Andrade Cárdenas, Danny Patricio; 030294386-5Abstract This research aimed to generate a business intelligence model for the capturing and credit areas at the Achik Inti Savings and Credit Cooperative in the Cañar cantón. The guidelines of the Ralph Kimball development methodology were used, applying all its phases since it emphasizes the data warehouse creation to meet the needs of this project. Different tools were used for the model design: PowerDesigner for the model development, Exasol for data loading, Knime for the ETL (extract, transform, and load) process, and Power BI for Dashboards generation. These tools allow analyzing accurate information in a short time, and thus benefiting the business decision making. As a result, a model for processing, transforming, and displaying vital information for decision making was obtained. The graphs show the current situation at the credit and capitation department with regard to the total amounts of deposit and credit in the last month. The information presented will allow to take necessary and key actions for the improvement of the cooperative, obtaining an advantage over its competitors.
