Ítem Acceso Abierto Intervenciones de enfermería en el manejo del paciente con pie diabético: revisión sistemática(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Lema Guaman, Karina Alexandra; Latacela Lligui, Gloria Alexandra; 0106787732; .Introduction: Diabetic foot (DF) is part of the microvascular complications of diabetes mellitus concerning the changes of peripheral neuropathy. Objective: To determine nursing interventions in the Management of Patients with Diabetic Foot through a Systematic Review. Methodology: Using the PRISMA methodology, a systematic bibliographic review was conducted by searching scientific articles in Scopus, Web of Science, and LILACS published in the last five years. Results: A direct affectation of diabetic foot is described in male patients (82%), nursing interventions are focused on the application of educational programs (68%), pedagogical interventions, and participation in practical group workshops (48%), empowering the patient in self-care. Conclusions: The activities performed by the nursing staff should be expanded beyond the care and procedural role towards behaviors that enhance self-care, thus establishing preventive and health promotion measures, which are key factors in managing this pathology.
