Ítem Acceso Abierto Lactancia materna segura en niños de 0 a 2 años en mujeres con covid-19. Una revisión Sistemática.(Universidad Católica de Cuenca, 2022-07-01) Lata Morocho, Azucena Angela; Rojas Verdugo, Erica Paola; 030242498-1Introduction: Breastfeeding is a vital process in the child's life, it allows him to grow up strong and healthy and creates an affective bond between him and his mother; breast milk is very significant in the child's first months of life since it has different minerals and nutrients to create the first immunity in the newborn. Main objective: To systematize the available scientific evidence on safe breastfeeding for children aged 0 to 2 years old. Methodology: This systematic review was based on the interpretation of complete scientific articles in different languages both Spanish and English, publications from the last five years 2018 to 2022 period by using the Prisma method to collect information. Findings/Discussion: 6 categories were created: breastfeeding, importance, duration, and benefits of breastfeeding for the child aged 0 to 2 years old, prevention measures for children of mothers with covid-19, and care or advice on mothers with covid-19. It helped to expand the researcher's knowledge by creating and studying these categories. A total of 20 scientific articles were selected to be used as the object of study. Conclusions: Breastfeeding is the first newborn vaccine since it provides viral antibodies which are present in milk against different viral diseases. Recommendations: Importance of handwashing, correct use of masks, and importance of breastfeeding. Keywords: breastfeeding, maternity, children, women, covid-19
