Considered the leading cause of physical disability, there is a decrease in its incidence and severity due to the implementation of improved neuroprotective strategies. Callista Roy's model develops with patients adaptive and coping strategies that enhance the patient's needs, cognitive aspects of interdependence, and self-concept. Objective: To analyze Callista Roy's model of adaptation in patients care with infantile cerebral palsy. Materials & Methods: A literature review study was conducted by searching scientific databases such as Publindex, Redalyc, ProQuest, SciELO, PubMed, ResearchGate, and Dialnet. Using keywords through descriptors of Health Sciences (DesCS): Cerebral Palsy, Movement Disorder, Nursing Care, search equations were formed using Boolean operators such as ¨AND.¨ Results: According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO), it is estimated that CP affects approximately 1.5 to 4 infants per 1,000 live births; prevalence varies by country and sociodemographic conditions, so the figure is as high as 5 cases per 1,000 live births. The multidisciplinary therapeutic approach of the CP performs an adaptation and customization according to the needs of each child, allowing for improve the lifestyle; Callista Roy prioritizes the individual's welfare, allowing to balance their needs and the environment. In patients with CP, physical and occupational therapies improve their mobility and functionality. Keywords: Cerebral Palsy, Movement Disorder, Nursing Care.
