Objective: To determine the prevalence, associated factors, therapeutic approach, complications, and nursing interventions in patients with Sheehan's syndrome. Methodology: A bibliographic review of narrative type was carried out from 50 articles, selecting articles that meet the inclusion criteria by searching for scientific documents found in institutional pages of the health area and databases, in Spanish, English, and Portuguese languages, in addition to Boléan operators and health science descriptors (DeSC) establishing search equations. Results: There is a prevalence of 14 million women who experience postpartum hemorrhage each year, so Sheehan's Syndrome originates 1 in every 100 000 births worldwide, as the main factor we have the pregnancy and as a consequent postpartum hemorrhage originating the Syndrome, it is important to consider its correct therapeutic approach consisting of hormone replacement for life, on the other hand as significant complications we have: agalactia, amenorrhea, hypopituitarism, thus nursing interventions are linked to the syndrome's symptomatology as the main action the PAE nursing care process is applied. Conclusions: It was possible to verify that women experiencing Sheehan's syndrome specifically had a history of postpartum hemorrhage that exceeded 1000 ml of blood loss with a minimum replacement of three to four globular bundles.
