In the under-8 category, participants are in the formative stage; therefore, acquiring the appropriate techniques and applying them is essential. The research aimed to analyze the most relevant technical fundamentals for teaching soccer to under-8 players, identifying methodological strategies that enhance learning. The methodology used had a qualitative approach with a descriptive scope. A systematic literature review was conducted in academic databases, including Scopus, Redalyc, and Google Scholar, focusing on scientific articles published between 2014 and 2025, while excluding theses, monographs, and non-peer-reviewed documents. The results show that fundamental techniques such as ball control, passing, receiving, and dribbling should be taught playfully through activities adapted to the children’s age. In conclusion, the implementation of appropriate pedagogical strategies, emotional support, and active family participation are important factors in enhancing both technical performance and the motivation and holistic development of children in the sports training process.
