- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoEvaluación de nuevas tecnologías sanitarias para la prevención del covid-19 a nivel nacional: una revisión sistemática.(Universidad Católica de Cuenca, 2022-07-01) Guamán Calle, Carla Marisol; Carrillo Zenteno, Jose Antonio; 030226804-0Thanks to the continuous educational campaigns today, the population has a clear knowledge about the covid-19 infection and spread; therefore, according to the OMS by its acronym in Spanish, the control and prevention of pandemic is a reality that depends on the effective compliance with preventive measures and a series of new health technologies that are discovered daily in the national context. Materials and methods: Qualitative systematic review under a meta-study type; 9 studies were taken from different databases such as Redalyc, PubMed, SCIELO, and Google Scholar. Findings: The use of new health technologies helps to guarantee the availability and correct use of tools and other effective and safe products that help in the covid-19 prevention, this facilitates the provision of quality health services for all citizens in general as it is a right ruled by the Constitution of Ecuador. Conclusion: Among the sanitary techniques nowadays, several resources, tools, devices, organizational models, sanitary procedures, and support systems oriented to health care are addressed during the covid-19. These tools are of key importance in the health sector to provide evidence about the quality to assist in the decision making. Thus, based on this, the process of selecting a cost-effective technology can be improved and consequently avoid incorporating doubtful value elements for the correct functioning of the health sector.
