The pathology that appeared worldwide at the end of 2019 as a variant entity in the human organism produced a pandemic and severe systemic repercussions that triggered high morbimortality rates, a disease currently known as COVID-19. As the pathology developed, alterations in multiple human body systems were observed, mainly cardiovascular damage with consequences in intrinsic cardiac tissue. Myocardial ischemia provoked two meaningful metabolic responses, a phosphate deficit and an accumulation of harmful metabolites, significantly altering ATP production. A quick response considering different markers would avoid multiorgan failure, perfusion deficit, and hypoxia in major organs. Among cardiac biomarkers are the cardiac enzymes: Myoglobin, CK, Lactate Dehydrogenase, and non-enzymatic enzymes such as troponins I and T, indicators of Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI). Objective: To make a systematic contribution through an analytical review of the sensitivity of cardiac enzyme markers as indicators of AMI in patients with covid- 19. Methodology: A systematized study will be conducted with scientific and literary contributions using the PRISMA review method according to the topic mentioned above. Results: This research seeks to highlight the distributive approach of the different research studies, guided by new analysis practices, acquiring knowledge through a practical clinical examination.
