Ítem Acceso Abierto “Correlación de la resistencia del concreto entre ensayos destructivos (resistencia a la compresión) y no destructivos (martillo de schmidt)”(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Gavilanes Pinos, Alicia Daniela; Illéscas Cárdenas, Paúl Esteban; 0302799275;Portland hydraulic cement concrete is widely used for construction worldwide. Evaluating its quality is very important, and simple compression tests are often used to determine the mix quality in design strength terms. In recent years, methods and tools have been implemented to evaluate the concrete strength mix without affecting the structural elements; these tests are known as non-destructive, and one of these is performed with the Schmidt hammer (sclerometer). This research is designed to determine a model based on the correlation between the conventional compressive strength test (in the hydraulic press) and the sclerometry test through laboratory tests, generating greater reliability using the Schmidt hammer. The research follows a series of standards-based processes using mixtures with three different resistance designs (210, 240, and 300 kg/cm2). Finally, the graphs with the correlations between rebound number and compressive strength are shown.
