A case is presented in this work in which a 29-year-old female patient, who five years ago received a renal transplant due to uncomplicated lupus nephritis; after infection by COVID-19 (coronavirus disease); she presented symptoms of acute renal rejection. Conclusion: The disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, called COVID-19, presents variable clinical manifestations, for which vaccination has been a requirement of great importance in solid organ recipient patients as in the rest of the population. However, complications resulting from vaccination are present and can cause a variety of complications, such as renal graft rejection
