Ítem Acceso Abierto Factores de riesgo asociados a la depresión posparto en madres adolescentes(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Calle Perguachi, Joseline Anabel; González Zumba, Fabián Orlando; 0302514369Objective: To identify risk factors associated with postpartum depression in adolescent mothers. Methodology: A systematic review study based on the PRISMA 2020 methodology, searching for original articles from the last five years in databases such as PubMed, SciELO, Scopus, Science Direct, RRAAE, Researchgate, and Virtual Health Library (VHL) using Boolean operators. A total of 190 articles in English, Spanish, and Portuguese were identified, and finally, 15 articles that met the inclusion criteria were included. Results and Conclusions: The conclusions reached through this systematic review study indicate that the most common risk factors for postpartum depression in adolescent mothers include economic situation, marital status (single), age, partner support, family dysfunction, history of depression, domestic violence, unplanned pregnancy, decision-making about the child's future, parental stress, social support, distress, and weight disturbances; these factors coincide in the comparative analysis across regions worldwide. The findings highlight the magnitude of the postpartum depression problem and underscore the importance of continuing this line of research and formulating and proposing prevention strategies against the primary risk factors.
