The right to alimony guarantees the satisfaction of fundamental needs, such as food, clothing, health, education, housing, amongst other rights, which allow the integral development of the minor. The State is obliged to establish measures for the protection of the rights of both children and adolescents; in this way, the accountability will be analyzed in the doctrinal part, the international legislation, and the provisions established in international instruments so that its incorporation in the Ecuadorian legislation can be justified.
