Maintaining proper oral hygiene has become a contemporary challenge, influenced by factors like brushing frequency, choice of fluoride toothpaste, and the amount applied. These elements are important in sustaining optimal oral health. Objective: To determine the brushing frequency and fluoride toothpaste usage among children aged 0 to 3 in the Gil Ramírez Dávalos parish of Cuenca in 2023. Materials and Methods: The research employs a quantitative, descriptive approach. The study population encompasses children aged 0 to 3 in the Gil Ramírez Dávalos parish, Cuenca, in 2023. Results: The investigation surveyed 176 parents or guardians of children within the specified age range in the Gil Ramírez Dávalos parish of Cuenca. The data collected provided insights into brushing frequency, toothpaste type, and fluoride content. Conclusion: Early-age oral care is imperative to keep a disease-free oral cavity. Therefore, it is important to educate parents about the significance of maintaining proper oral hygiene practices since it leads to overall well-being and quality of life.
