This study describes the percentage of application of the nursing process, registration, digital tools used, advantages and disadvantages of the application, and curricular adaptation of the NANDA, NOC, NIC taxonomy in nursing degrees. Methodology: This research is a narrative literature review grounded on scientific databases such as Scopus, Taylor & Francis, ProQuest, PubMed, ResearchGate, Medigraphic, Redalyc, and Scielo. Results: The answers shown at present suggest that nursing personnel do apply the LEE, its registration is electronically or through SOAPIE; some digital tools are described which facilitate the interrelation NANDA, NOC, NIC, and the critical judgment of nursing personnel. Furthermore, in different universities, it has been possible to verify that in their curricular plan the taxonomy NANDA, NOC, NIC is taught from the beginning of the degree study. Conclusions: It is finally concluded that a high percentage of professionals do apply the LEE since it is based on scientific evidence; however, drawbacks such as lack of time and excessive workload that prevent its application exist. In different universities the curricular plan of the nursing career adapts the taxonomy NANDA, NOC, NIC as well, to train professionals who exert the profession with conviction and human quality.
