This obligation is especially incumbent upon parents concerning their children, taking into account that the amount received by the alimony recipient must be sufficient to cover his or her basic needs. The current system that our country maintains for the setting of alimony is the application of a table, which only considers the basic food basket and too generic conditions to apply the values to be paid, that is why in the development of this thesis the circumstances that should concur so that the fixing of alimony satisfies the needs of the minor and does not become a commodified right are explained
