Ítem Solo Metadatos Seguridad de aine en pacientes con diagnostico de la covid-19(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Cedillo Rivera, Melisa Daniela; Pichazaca Mayancela, Rosa Elizabeth; Martinez Leon, Maritza del Rosario; 0105057210; 0301955373Introduction: NSAIDs are defined as non-steroidal antiinflammatory drugs representing a chemical pharmacological group of the heterogeneous type used to treat COVID-19 in patients with mild or moderate symptomatology. Objective: Analyze the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in the treatment of clinical manifestations presented in patients with SARS-CoV-2, in addition to evidencing which are the most frequent NSAIDs, in the same way that doses can cause harm and if these can cause morbidities. Methodology: A literature review was carried out to gather data on patients consuming NSAIDs and the presumed decline of their symptoms, such as arterial hypertension, fluid retention, renal problems, cardiac problems, or rashes after consuming these drugs. Conclusion: NSAIDs are commonly used in patients with COVID-19, but certain hospitals recommend front-line providers conduct an in-use assessment. It is important to know the symptoms that the patient is experiencing in order to avoid the use of NSAIDs.
