Diseño de un prototipo de software para la terapia de lenguaje de niños con trastorno de déficit de atención con hiperactividad

In the educational environment in Guayaquil-Ecuador, there are 7,918 students in public institutions diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Therefore, this research aims to develop prototype software for language therapy for children with ADHD focused on reading and writing. This software is a support tool in therapeutic consultations to stimulate concentration and improve memory retention in children. The methodology used for developing the software prototype is SCRUM which consists of three phases: Planning, Development, and Delivery. The results showed that the software prototype in conjunction with the therapies helps improve the learning process in children through the interaction of the system. In addition, it must be considered that the results are not immediate due to the number of therapies and the variety of interactions that each child must receive. In developing the software prototype, essential factors such as: color tones, sound environment, and visual content overload were taken into account. In conclusion, the software helps improve the literacy of children with ADHD with the support of a specialist to obtain optimal results.
