To address this study, the objective was to analyze the impact of social inequality and segregation in the living conditions of the students of the career in the face of the pandemic. Within the methodology, an exploratory, descriptive, and correlational level were applied, with a non-experimental quantitative approach of transversal cross-section, the techniques utilized were the survey and the documentary analysis; likewise, the methods were analytical-synthetic and deductive. The results showed that during the pandemic, the sector of residence had an impact on the work environment, since many people were dismissed from their workplaces and in other cases their working day was reduced, affecting the economy and income of the individual and therefore the family nucleus. Far this reason, social inequality and segregation were determining factors in the living conditions of the students of the Social Work Career.
