Ítem Acceso Abierto Fabricación de bloques de terrocemento con tierras de la parroquia Cojitambo, del cantón Azogues(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Beltrán Rodríguez, Miriam Camila; Venegas Tomalá, Andrés Oswaldo; 0302062542; ., .The present work deals with the manufacture of terrocement blocks with land from the Cojitambo parish, of the Azogues canton; Its objective is the characterization of soils and the validation of its properties, in order to provide a masonry applicable to construction systems sustainable, based on the materials of the place; developed as an alternative to to the new architectural image that has been introduced in the area, since it invades the rural landscape, causing the construction on land to be devalued. This experimental thesis analyzes four soils extracted from different areas, which were chosen through the sectorization of ground construction; the different international regulations are taken as a guide, which are the basis for check the quality of the material. Likewise, theoretical instruments are used on the background of construction on land, the history of the BTC, its generalities and the tests necessary to Check the characteristics of the soil and the block once manufactured. Finally, they are manufactured blocks and it is concluded that its elaboration is feasible in the Cojitambo parish, because, it is verified the quality of the land by compliance with regulations, therefore, it constitutes a viable alternative construction with earth.
