Implementación de Políticas Públicas como medio de prevención del delito de femicidio en el Ecuador

This study analyzed the alarming reality that despite regulations in force to tackle and reduce the rate of femicide in Ecuador, these have not been able to lower such crime. Far from decreasing, femicide figures show a significant increase. Therefore, this paper proposes implementing public policies as a new approach to deal with this problem aiming to reduce femicide rates in Ecuador. The based theory and analytical and legal dogmatic methods were used to achieve the aims of this study which were implemented in the analysis of cases. This research aimed to establish and implement public policies that guarantee the established principles and rights. The study includes background and foundations that support its theoretical and scientific nature. It seeks to interpret and conceptualize the relevant terminology for the different areas and, finally, come to conclusions and make recommendations.
