General Objective: To identify the lifestyles and nutritional status of the nursing students of the Catholic University of Cuenca, Azogues, September 2018- February 2019. Materials and methods: This research is of quantitative, correlational and cross- sectional type, we worked with a population of 425 that normally attended classes and a sample of 202 students of the Nursing career, for the information collection was applied the FANTASTIC test. For the tabulation of data, we worked with the SPSS 24 program and Microsoft Excel, the results were shown in tables and graphs. Result: Regarding the nutritional status of the students through the body mass index, it can be observed that 64.9% of the population meets a normal weight. Conclusions: It is confirmed that there is a relationship between the lifestyles and nutritional status of the students, because their weight is in normal parameters, giving a result of 5% being statistically reliable for this study.
