Contributing to the development of the country and generating sources of employment. The purpose of this work is to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during the years of study to design the investment and management project. Clinical laboratory San Carlos, located in the city of Sucúa; It arises in order to meet the needs of the population to have a medical examination service that offers confidence, quality, at an affordable cost, so that the inhabitants do not have to leave the city for a better care. In order to know its viability, an analysis of the environment has been started; followed by a market study which has allowed to determine the unsatisfied demand, identify potential customers; and, determine strategies of marketing. Subsequently, a strategic plan has been made, delimiting the internal structure, key success factors and the SWOT analysis. Then the technical and legal study was carried out to establish the optimal location, internal distribution of the office and equipment to be used; as well as, keep in mind the minimum requirements for operation; finally, there is the financial economic study. After carrying out the design of the investment and management project of the San Carlos clinical laboratory, it can be concluded that the project is viable.
