Overweight and obesity in children constitute a public health problem due to the complexity that is reaching as this issue affects children in younger ages. Is this why the creation of a center for the treatment of this problem is necessary. The Center for treatment of children with obesity or overweight “Caritas Felices” is designed to treat both physically and psychologically children of Canton Azogues suffering from obesity or overweight, and it tries to raise awareness among parents about this health problem, offering functional areas specially designed to meet their needs, appropriate to their skills and dimensions. The center provides appropriate and sufficient facilities for the implementation of treatment, as well as technology of the highest quality and highly trained in the different areas to be treated as the following: pediatrics, psychology, nutrition and personal trainer.
