Actividad y niveles de satisfacción sexual en gestantes

Introduction: Sexuality is a crucial aspect of the integral health of human beings, encompassing sex, identity, gender roles, pleasure, intimacy, reproduction, and sexual orientation. Objective: To determine the frequency of sexual activity and sexual satisfaction levels in pregnant women. Methodology: This is an analytical study through a systematic review involving the selection of scientific articles from Google Scholar, PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science databases from 2013 to 2023. The selection of articles observed the PRISMA 2020 statement guidelines. Results: The frequency of sexual intercourse in pregnant women is 76.69%, with a higher frequency in the first trimester of pregnancy at 41.46%, meanwhile, the low sexual satisfaction level reaches 38.70%. Conclusion: In pregnant women, the frequency of sexual intercourse is high, while there is not a significant difference in the sexual satisfaction levels
