The most practiced by adolescents are soccer and Ecuavóley; therefore, these sports are the most well-known nationwide and draw attention from the population. Objective: To determine the influence of ecuavóley technical fundamentals on the physical capacities of high school students through pre-sports games for its correct practice. Methodology: This research has a descriptive scope with a pre-experimental design with a quantitative approach of longitudinal cut. After applying the Ilinos and jumps Tests to 105 students of the high school level —54 male and 51 female students— they attended classes for five weeks, five days a week, as a part of a physical exercises program. For data tabulation, the SSPS software version 26 was used. - ÍtemAcceso AbiertoLos juegos tradicionales y el uso del tiempo libre en adolescentes de la Parroquia Molleturo(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Pacheco Gutama, Erick Stalin; González, Nanci de la Nube; 0150243541; ., .This research aims to develop imagination, expression, and communication through games. Traditional games are a cultural expression preserved over time. For this reason, it was necessary to determine whether traditional games help high school students of the ‘Molleturo’ Educational Unit to use their free time effectively. A non-probabilistic sample comprised 50 male and female students aged 16-18, with an average age of 17. The instrument was a ten-question survey validated by Bula, X. P. et al. (2015), and after applying it, the results were tabulated in EXCEL and IBM SPSS. The results showed that most girls and boys are interested in and like to play these games. At the moment, working with students, it was observed that there is no commitment and interest in the Physical Education teachers of the institution to execute this type of game during class; as a consequence, the learners lose interest and enjoyment in playing and do not take advantage of the benefits that traditional games can offer them for their learning and personal development.
- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoPROGRAMA DE ENSEÑANZA APRENDIZAJE PARA MEJORAR LA TÉCNICA DE RECEPCIÓN EN VOLEIBOL(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2024) Garcia Parra, Bryan Andrés; González, Nanci de la Nube; 1401241367This study aimed to improve the reception technique in volleyball through a guide of exercises that integrates individual and collective activities. A non-experimental longitudinal design was used, with a quantitative approach and descriptive scope; three critical subcategories of analysis provided by the FIVB were identified: Posture (P), Ball Contact (C), and After Impact (DI by its Spanish acronym). Each subcategory included five indicators, and an observation form was developed with 15 assessment criteria based on the mentioned subcategories. The study sample comprised 21 athletes from the Sports Federation of Morona Santiago, aged 10 and 12; 15 girls and six boys, who faced difficulties perfecting their reception technique in the game. Among the most outstanding results, there was a clear tendency for errors in the reception subcategory of the serve, as evidenced by the general averages associated with this area, which were noticeably higher than the other subcategories. After implementing the proposed exercises, the different assessment periods significantly decreased average error rates. In conclusion, implementing individual and collective exercises substantially improved participants' reception. This finding supports the effectiveness of a holistic strategy incorporating individual and collective exercises to rectify the technical deficiencies identified in volleyball reception.
