Resumen
Education is a fundamental human right and must be intercultural and inclusive. Teaching methodologies and technological tools used for teaching-learning must take into account that there are groups of people with disabilities, such as visual impairment. The objective of this research is to implement a software prototype for the teaching and learning of braille to contribute to the education of the boy or girl with this condition. Thus, it is possible for the student to access varied information on the Internet and recreational and expression spaces such as games and blogs. For the development of this software prototype, the waterfall methodology was selected. The developed system is considered friendly by both students and teachers, and allowed an improvement in the memory ability and motor capacity of the students. However, the system is in its initial phase of development and functionalities will continue to be added that will fully address the contents of the Language and Literature subject. This research shows that the integration between technology and inclusive education is possible.

La educación es un derecho fundamental del ser humano y debe ser intercultural e inclusiva. La fusión de las metodologías de enseñanza, aprendizaje y herramientas tecnológicas fortalecen el proceso de aprendizaje de personas con discapacidad. Razón por la cual, esta investigación tiene como objetivo implementar un prototipo de software para la enseñanza-aprendizaje de braille de niños con discapacidad visual. El prototipo de software fue desarrollado utilizando la metodología en cascada. El sistema desarrollado es considerado como amigable tanto por los estudiantes como por los profesores, y permitió una mejoría en la habilidad de memoria y capacidad motora de los estudiantes; sin embargo, el sistema se encuentra en su fase inicial de desarrollo y se seguirán agregando funcionalidades que permitan abordar completamente los contenidos de la asignatura de Lengua y Literatura. Esta investigación demuestra que es posible la integración entre tecnología y educación inclusiva.
