- ÍtemSolo MetadatosIngeniero de Software(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Tenesaca Pesantez, Jorge Andres; Yanza Saca, Gustavo Xavier; Quevedo Sacoto, Andrés Sebastián; 0150294098; 0105091029In this project, face recognition, an essential component of interpersonal identification throughout history, has been explored, with the advancement of artificial intelligence and deep learning, a face recognition microservice was developed based on advanced algorithms, specifically using FaceNet-PyTorch. This approach overcomes the limitations of traditional methods, providing greater accuracy and adaptability in real-world situations, the microservices architecture offers modularity and scalability, while cosine similarity analysis on facial representations optimizes data management, overall, this project provides an effective and versatile solution for facial recognition, with potential to impact a wide range of applications.
- ÍtemSolo MetadatosMediaverso: implementación del proceso de mediación en el metaverso(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Gordillo Chuchuca, Bryam Rolando; Quevedo Sacoto, Andrés Sebastián; 0105331425The purpose of this article is to present a virtual reality application and its current advantages, with the objective of helping law students to practice mediation processes, benefit from these virtual environments and at the same time motivate their study and learning with this tool. For the creation of modeling, scenarios, animations and 3D virtual graphics, tools and programs such as Blender, images in JPG format and Ready Player Me were used. For the user interactions (UI) we focused on the concept of Lean Canvas that allows to understand the problems of customers to find solutions using the Oculus device and its corresponding SDK. The application was tested with a sample population of students in the last cycle of the law program, who filled out a satisfaction and suggestions survey as feedback, and then proceeded with the correction of errors and configurations. The application obtained an eighty-five percent success rate according to the survey that revealed that they were satisfied with the experience due to the accessibility and ease of use of the application, as well as the development of scenarios similar to the real ones. This application using virtual reality demonstrates significant potential by enabling students to practice and learn in a creative environment, which strengthens the educational method.
- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoSistema de información en la web para detección de COVID-19 en radiografías de tórax.(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2022) Clavijo Santacruz, Luis David; Soria Peña, Carlos Eduardo; Quevedo Sacoto, Andrés Sebastián; 0105630388; 0105885537In the last decade, the increase of the technology has been advanced in a gigantic steps, much of these technologies have been taken in to the medicine world, helping and keeping dangerous diseases like COVID under control. That's why that with the help of the artificial intelligence, we can predict dignostics based in torax x-rays. This research is based on the implementation of a web information system, which connects to an AI prediction server, which analyzes the presence or absence of COVID by sending digitized radiographs. This system is elavorated under the agile SCRUM framework and is designed in a friendly way so that any user can use it without major complications, also implements security provided by springboot to guarantee confydentiality, integrity and availability in data. The results of the research were satisfactory with a proyection of 85% percent as a total approval of the functionality and the content displayed, while the rest 15% of the users who tested the system had problems, nevertheless, we received the feedback necessary to improve the interface experience.
- ÍtemSolo MetadatosSistema web para la interacción de imágenes médicas(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Román Valdiviezo, José Alberto; Quevedo Sacoto, Andrés Sebastián; 0704713619This work describes the implementation of a web system for interacting with chest radiographic medical images. The system is a comprehensive and flexible tool that allows healthcare professionals to access and analyze medical images efficiently and accurately. The system is compatible with multiple medical image formats and has security measures in place to protect patient data confidentiality. The main objective of this system is to improve the implementation of medical image visualization systems in clinical environments with accessibility, with special attention to their accessibility and functionality on the web.
