- ÍtemSolo MetadatosAnálisis de empleabilidad de los graduados de la carrera de ingeniería de sistemas de la universidad católica de cuenca matriz utilizando técnicas de minería de datos(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Altamirano Cordero, Dolores Victoria; Poma Japón, Diana Ximena; 0150743078The quality and effectiveness of education provided in universities make students to finish their academic periods and start their professional life as indicators of the progress and development of universities. For this reason, conducting an employability analysis of the graduates of the Systems Engineering career, periods 2016 to 2020, of the Universidad Católica de Cuenca, Ecuador. Based on the Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP - DM) methodology under development and a sample of 145 graduates. Obtaining that the percentage of graduates who work mostly in the private sector and specifically in "Operational" positions is 50,4%, of which 7,59% are women. While the lowest percentage of relevance is found among management positions with 3,5% corresponding only to men. - ÍtemEmbargoComparación de metodologías ágiles para el desarrollo de Software(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2024) Merchán Narváez, Nancy Jhanina; Palma Peralta, Elena Elizabeth; Poma Japón, Diana Ximena; 0704472422; 0106328180Agile methodologies are more adaptive than predictive, they focus on people rather than processes. Innovation trends offer the opportunity to contrast various agile methodologies in the search for the path that leads to efficiency and success in the exciting journey of software development, which represents a continuous challenge. In the development industry, the business-as-usual approach has been progressively replaced by agile methodologies, which has effectively addressed the challenges of project management and delivery. However, there is a variety of agile methodologies, and it is important to understand their differences, and how they adapt to development contexts. Therefore, this article explores various disclosures on agile methodologies, their bases and principles; specifies standards to determine their importance; defines and exposes in detail the most outstanding ones. It is deduced that the agile methods: XP, Scrum, Kanban and DSDM have significant differences, but share a common focus on adaptability, product excellence and customer delight. Therefore, it can be noted that none of the analyzed methodologies concretely addresses the elimination of waste and the continuous delivery of value to the customer. For this reason, a new methodology which combines agile principles and Lean concepts to ensure efficiency, optimize processes and deliver quality products that meet customer expectations is proposed.
- ÍtemSolo MetadatosPlan de gestión de residuos tecnológicos en la Universidad Católica de Cuenca, Ecuador(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Chillogalli Morocho, José Armando; Poma Japón, Diana Ximena; 0107138133The generation of technological waste is a progressive problem that affects the world. In Ecuador, the increase in the production of this waste and the lack of management puts the environment at risk. For this reason, this research work presents the design and proposal for a technological waste management process at the Catholic University of Cuenca. Based on an analysis of different technological areas of the university. Results obtained in the SPSS tool of the different questions analyzed are presented. The results show that several activities should be applied more frequently. Through the monitoring of good practices and standards, specified in the ISO 14001:2015 standard, the proposal to improve the efficiency and management of electronic waste is presented.
