La metodología de esta investigación fue la revisión sistemática de la literatura, con un enfoque de tipo cualitativo, de carácter descriptico-explicativo. La búsqueda se realizó en fuentes como: revistas, libros, tesis y artículo científicos. Se encontraron 35 investigaciones, considerando los siguientes criterios: pertinencia, relevancia, confiabilidad y vigencia, eligiendo 23 documentos de las siguientes bases científicas entre ellas: Scopus, ProQuest, La Referencia, Redalyc.org, Scielo, y Google académico. El hallazgo más importante fue determinar que el desarrollo de la afectividad se da tanto en el hogar como en la escuela, un estudiante con un buen desarrollo afectivo podrá relacionarse con su entorno, se sentirá seguro de sí mismo y no tendrá problemas al momento de ejecutar las actividades artísticas. La principal conclusión es que la docente debe crear un ambiente afectivo en el salón para que los niños se sientan seguros y puedan realizar actividades escolares sin temor. Cabe recalcar que una de las limitaciones del tema en estudio ha sido la escasez de investigaciones con relación a las dos variables.This study aimed to know themain findings that support the relationship between artistic expression and th emotional development of preschool children. The methodology of this research was the systematic review of the literature, with a quialitative, descriptive-explanatory approach. The search was performed utilizing sources, such as journals, books, theses, and scientific articles. Thirty-five types of research were found, considering the following criteria: pertinence, relevance. reliability, and validity, choosing 2 documents from the following scientific bases among them: Scopus, Proquest, La referencia, Redalyc.org, Scielo, and Google Scholar. The most important finding was to determine that the development of affectivity occurs both at home and school, a student with good emotional will not have problems when executing artistic activities. The main conclusion is that the teacher must create an affective environment in the classroom so that children feel safe and can perform school activities without fear.
