A mixed-methods approach was employed, featuring a non-experimental, cross-sectional design with a descriptive-analytical scope. The information was collected through an interview with the founder, surveys of 15 employees, a review of documents, and observation of social media. The results showed favorable perceptions regarding the use of digital tools (76.7%), interaction with customers (71.1%), digital presence, content, and marketing through digital channels (68.9%). However, limitations were identified in the frequency of posts and interaction with users. Social and technological factors were found to be more relevant to digital marketing, while economic constraints hinder investment in technology. The proposed update retains the six dimensions of the PESTEL framework and incorporates variables related to digitalization, sustainability, and current regulations. Artificial intelligence, Big Data, and the Internet of Things were identified as future alternatives, with no evidence of their current implementation within the company.
