La psicomotrocidad y su relación con el desarrollo cognitivo en niños y niñas de 3 a 4 años

Resumen
The correct development of psychomotor skills within the framework of the integral education of boys and girls, whose education is based on highlighting motor, expressive and creative skills, using the body through activities where they run, jump, and play, thus developing balance, coordination, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, laterality, body scheme, where the child will improve his memory, attention, concentration, and creativity. The general objective of this research is to analyze theoretically the relationship between psychomotor skills and the cognitive development of children from 3 to 4 years of age, since the integral development of the infant directly influences the cognitive, affective, and social environment, the same that occurs in the first years of life. For this qualitative research, a descriptive bibliographic documentary method was used, searching different articles and scientific journals using scientific databases such as Redalyc, Scopus, and Scielo and being of great help to the digital repository of the Catholic University of Cuenca.

El correcto desarrollo de la psicomotricidad dentro del marco de la educación integral de niños y niñas, cuya educación está basada netamente en destacar las habilidades motrices, expresivas y creativas, para ello utiliza el cuerpo, mediante actividades donde corra, salte y juegue, desarrollando así el equilibrio, coordinación, motricidad fina, motricidad gruesa, lateralidad, esquema corporal, donde el niño mejorara su memoria, atención, concentración y creatividad. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo general analizar teóricamente la relación que existe entre la psicomotricidad y el desarrollo cognitivo de los niños y niñas de 3 a 4 años, ya que el desarrollo integral del infante influye directamente en el ámbito cognitivo, afectivo y social, el mismo que se da en los primeros años de vida. Para la presente investigación cualitativa se utilizó un método bibliográfico documental de tipo descriptivo, realizó búsquedas de diferentes artículos y revistas científicas utilizando las bases de datos científicas como Redalyc, Scopus y Scielo y siendo de gran ayuda el repositorio digital de la Universidad Católica de Cuenca.
