Ítem Acceso Abierto Actividades lúdicas para el desarrollo de la coordinación motriz en escolares(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2025) Salazar Cadme, Klever Sebastian; Jarrin Navas, Santiago; 0302300611This research addresses the importance of playful activities for developing motor coordination in schoolchildren, focusing on how these activities influence learning within the school context. It highlights that a lack of motor coordination is a common challenge in schools, affecting students' ability to perform technical movements and participate in sports. The study emphasizes that using traditional games, relay races, chase games, and motor skill activities, among others, can significantly enhance motor coordination, promoting skills such as balance, agility, strength, and precision. The research adopts a qualitative approach based on a literature review of studies conducted from 2019 to 2024. It analyzes various approaches and outcomes regarding how playful activities impact the motor coordination of schoolchildren. The findings suggest that these activities not only improve motor skills but also promote values such as teamwork, healthy competition, and socialization, which are essential for students' holistic development. Finally, the study concludes that it is crucial for teachers to frequently integrate these activities into their Physical Education programs to improve students' physical and emotional well-being, prevent sedentary lifestyles, and optimize their motor learning.
