    Estilo de vida del profesional de enfermería del Hospital José Carrasco Arteaga Cuenca, perído septiembre 2019 - febrero 2020

    Objective: To determine the lifestyle of the nursing professional of the “Jose Carrasco Arteaga – Cuenca”. Methodology: Non- experimental descriptive and correlational cross-sectional research with a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of one hundred thirty-three nurses. The application of a survey called scale of lifestyles and obtaining sociodemographic data was carried out. The data processing and analysis was carried out with statistical package SPSS version 25 and Microsoft excel 16. Results: It reflects the prevalence of gender female (95,5%), the predominant age is thirty-one to thirty-six (42,1%), the majority are catholic (91,0%), the whole identifies itself as mestizos, working time is two to six years (54,9%), marital status married to (49.6%); residents in the urban area (71,4%), the majority of the staff do not suffer from diseases (89,5%), which ones the (90,2%) perform direct patient care. The kind of Lifestyle was identified as healthy (69,2%); and unhealthy (30,8%). Lifestyle is positively associated with the variables: age, working time and residence of nursing professionals (p <0.05). Conclusion: Healthy lifestyles are the most appropriate option, the risk of chronic non-communicable diseases and extends life expectancy
