It seeks to obtain updated clinical and microbiological evidence to improve clinical practice and care in pediatric patients. Objective: To systematically organize data on the efficacy of the amoxicillin/sulbactam combination in the treatment of children. Methodology: A qualitative bibliographic review was conducted, involving consultations of various academic and scientific databases such as Scholar, PMC, SciELO, Mediagraphic, Dialnet, Redalyc, Semantic Scholar, and Elsevier. A total of 17 studies were selected, providing a wide range of knowledge and scientific evidence. Results: Due to the limited available of literature on this specific topic, there is limited evidence regarding the efficacy of amoxicillin/sulbactam treatment in AOM in children. However, it was observed that the frequency of amoxicillin/sulbactam use in AOM varies from 39.8% to 55% of cases, and its prevalence of use ranges from 45.8% to 78% of cases, depending on the study. Furthermore, amoxicillin/sulbactam was found to be recommended as a treatment of choice in cases of NAC (N-Acetylcysteine). It is prescribed for urinary tract infections, soft tissue infections, chronic otitis media (COM), and cholesteatoma. Conclusions: These findings suggest that amoxicillin/sulbactam is an effective alternative therapeutic option in managing AOM and other diseases
