- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoIntervenciones de enfermería en pacientes con accidente cerebro vascular hemorrágico(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Jara Gomez, Jacqueline Estefanía; Morocho Guamán, Sara Patricia; Alvarez Loja, Braulio Fernando; 0107616468; 1950024461Introduction: The World Health Organization associates cerebrovascular diseases with focal or diffuse signs of vascular origin and rapid evolution, sometimes causing death. This work aimed to determine nursing interventions for patients with hemorrhagic cerebrovascular accidents through a systematic review. Methodology: A narrative-type bibliographic review was conducted, selecting scientific articles from different databases, such as Scopus, Redalyc, SciELO, PubMed, and Dialnet to support the study. Results: According to the research extracted from the studies, it was predicted that by the year 2050 the cases of Cerebrovascular Accident would increase from 16% to 30.2% in the Hispanic population, while the African-American community would remain stable, with a prevalence of over 50%. Therefore, nursing actions are necessary to reduce these statistics. Nursing interventions mainly focus on monitoring vital signs, administering medications, providing oxygen therapy, offering psychosocial care, implementing thromboembolic prophylaxis, and facilitating position changes. Conclusion: Cerebrovascular disease is a global health problem due to its increasing frequency, causing motor and sensory sequelae. The most frequent risk factors are arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, smoking, alcoholism, sedentary lifestyle, and obesity. Its complications arise from patient immobility and prolonged bedridden periods. The therapeutic approach encompasses prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation. Keywords: Cerebrovascular Accident, prevalence, risk factors, role of the nurse.
