It is the fifth cause of cancer and affects children and adolescents. Methodology: Descriptive and narrative bibliographic research was carried out, and databases such as PubMed, ProQuest, Medline, Medigraphic, Redalyc, Dialnet, SciELO, Scopus, Latindex, and institutional health pages such as the Ministry of Public Health of Ecuador and the World Health Organization in English and Spanish were taken into account. It applied inclusion criteria, limiting the selection to research from the last five years. Results: The prevalence of bone cancer constitutes 8% of childhood neoplasms. Among the associated factors, alcohol consumption, smoking, bone fractures, ethnic factors, low sun exposure, bone loss, nutritional deficiencies, and low physical activity were found. Regarding complications, they occur as a consequence of pharmacological treatment and surgical problems. In addition, the presence of pathological fractures, complications in the surgical wound, neuropathy, and pulmonary fibrosis necrosis were observed. Regarding treatment, it is primarily surgical. Finally, nursing care includes pain management, monitoring of vital signs, emotional support, adequate nutrition, and promoting self-care. Conclusions: Bone cancer is a pathology with signs and symptoms that puts people's lives at risk. Despite advances, there are still significant challenges in its diagnosis, treatment, and nursing interventions to improve the care of patients with this type of cancer.
