Planificación estratégica de tecnologías de la información para el GAD intercultural de el Tambo.

Abstract The purpose of this research work entitled "Strategic Planning of Information Technology for the Intercultural GAD El Tambo" is to design a strategic information technology plan for the municipality of El Tambo that helps to achieve the strategic objectives of the Department of Information Technology and at the same time is aligned with institutional strategies. For the development of a Strategic Plan of Technologies, some methodologies were studied, the most suitable being the PETI methodology, which has as its main advantage to be a planning and monitoring tool for information technology projects. The PETI methodology was developed in four phases, starting with the current situation of the IT department, inventory of IT resources, technological architecture, and documentation available to the institution, which helped to propose IT strategies. For the implementation of the IT strategies, a schedule was drawn up establishing the activities to be carried out, the execution time, as well as the investment, the risks involved in each of them, and a plan to mitigate the risks.
