The objective was to improve the calculation of Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) indicators in industrial environments. It addressed the challenge of automating the indicator analysis, eliminating the need for error-prone and poor manual data tabulation. Its ability to generate internal estimates in electronic spreadsheets increases operational efficiency, thus providing accurate OEE data. This research benefits small and medium-sized manufacturing companies that do not typically invest in advanced data collection systems. This tool allows one to accurately measure the equipment's availability, performance, and quality, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to improve production efficiency. The methodology involves collecting relevant data, such as the number of units produced, defective units, and actual production hours, to generate the formulation that calculates the OEE indicators. In addition, graphical reports will be used to present the results visually and understandably. It is essential to keep the data updated to ensure the accuracy of the results and in the periodic review of the information to drive continuous improvements in the performance and efficiency of the production equipment. This research seeks to implement a practical and effective tool that automatically measures indicator compliance in the context of the metalworking industry.
