Ítem Acceso Abierto Eficacia de la terapia cognitiva conductual en mujeres con cáncer de mama.(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2025) Mendoza Avellan, Karla Fiorella; Loja Villacis, Doménica Dayana; León Prieto, María; 1351585342; 1400789127Breast cancer (BC) has had a serious impact on the lives of patients, not only from a physical aspect but also emotionally and psychologically. Women diagnosed with this disease often experience symptoms of anxiety, depression and stress, which affect their lifestyle and their ability to cope. This research aims to describe the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in women with this disease through a literature review. For this purpose, a descriptive-qualitative narrative review was conducted, through the selection of 11 articles found in databases such as Web of Science, Scopus, and PubMed, which were analyzed using a bibliographic record that described the type of study, symptoms, objective and results. Thus, through the analysis of the important findings, the effectiveness of the implementation of CBT in women with BC was confirmed, and it is also highlighted as essential and effective for the correct psychological behavior of patients with this diagnosis, emphasizing the importance of comprehensive approaches that address physical emotional, and psychological aspects. Although the results are mostly positive, there are limitations and challenges that must be addressed in future research to strengthen the evidence and improve interventions.
