- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoSalas multisensoriales como recurso didáctico para estimular el lenguaje oral de los niños de 3 a 5 años(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2022) Ortiz Alvear, Mónica Carolina; Curay Banegas, Edgar Rigoberto; 030155450-7Oral language plays an essential role in the integral development of infants, so the child must be stimulated in multiple ways to achieve adequate oral language. Concerning the above, this research aims to develop a proposal to promote oral language development in children aged 3 to 5 years in multisensory rooms or Snoezelen. The methodology used in the research has a qualitative and descriptive approach with an analysis of bibliographic review. For this report, the information was collected using Boolean operators to obtain current and valid data about the variables under study. The collection of documents such as books, theses, and scientific articles was made through the databases of the University. As a result of the research, the activities obtained were used for elaborating the proposal to develop the oral language of children from 3 to 5 years old in the multisensory rooms, also called Snoezelen. In conclusion, the research showed that the application of multisensory rooms in the development of oral language is favorable since it can effectively stimulate the auditory and gustatory areas that are specifically involved in the development of oral language; these rooms work directly with the senses, which are the main channel of perception of stimuli and sensations produced by the environment.
