- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoActividades Lúdicas en el desarrollo psicomotriz en niños de 8 a 10 años(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Garcia Molina, Kevin Germán; Jarrin Navas, Santiago; 0350098281; ., .Psychomotricity studies and develops motor and cognitive skills, making it possible to satisfy needs that influence the quality of life; therefore, this research aims to analyze the psychomotor development in children from 8 to 10 years old through ludic activities since, during this stage, normal development is affected by growth processes, as well as physical and psychic abilities changes. The methodology was pre-experimental with a longitudinal scope of quantitative approach, conducted in a population of 24 children, 14 boys and 10 girls from the "San Rafael" Educational Unit of Honorato Vásquez in Cañar canton; the research instrument was the EVANM neuromotor test of (90 items) validated by Cronbach's alpha (α= 0. 937) with a significant index, which was applied in a pre-and post-test where the basic movement patterns of walking, crawling, dragging, running, hop, balance, muscle tone, and postural control were evaluated. The pre-test indicated that 4% of the children had not acquired all the motor skills dimensions, 8% postural control, balance, and 21% muscle tone. The post-test showed that after applying the intervention proposal based on ludic activities through physical education such as games, exercises, and sports performed during 24 sessions from April to June 2023, there was significant progress in the motor skills acquisition, thus demonstrating a positive relationship between ludic activities and psychomotricity.
