It is opposed to the ordinary justice system that offers the opposite. For this reason, Restorative Justice is seen as a new way to orient the law towards a more humanistic vision for the reparation of the harm caused, which, together with mediation, offers a peaceful solution. Through the analysis and definition of this alternative, together with the comparative legislation of Argentina, Colombia, and Spain, we try to show that criminal mediation is not only applicable but also necessary for the correct development of the administration of Justice.
