- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoLa musicoterapia en el manejo del estrés en niños que asisten a la UDIPSAI. Caso experimental(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2020) Contreras Solis, Daniel Enrique; Cedillo Armijos, María de Lourdes; 110517043-3Stress is a natural adaptive response; music has been used to achieve therapeutic goals. For this reason, the objective of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the music therapy program in children with school, personal and family stress. We worked with 20 children referred to the area of clinical psychology of the Unit of Diagnostic Psychological Research and Support for inclusion, from November 2019 to February 2020 (n= 20). The minimum age of the children was 6 years, the maximum age was 12 years with a mean of 9.15 and a standard deviation of 1.755. It is assumed that a psychological intervention program with music therapy as a coadjutant measure reduces the level of stress in the population investigated, considering music therapy intervention as an independent variable and his effect on the dependent variable was the level of stress (school, personal and family). The Inventory of Daily Child Stress provided by the psychometric laboratory of the CIITT of the Catholic University of Cuenca was used in its original version, whose reliability is 0.81. The measurements of the level of stress both in the control group and in the experimental group did not reveal significant variations, so the null hypothesis was accepted.
