- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoMETODOLOGÍA PARA EL APRENDIZAJE DE LOS FUNDAMENTOS TÉCNICOS EN EL PATINAJE DE VELOCIDAD(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2024) Argudo Calle, César Bolívar; Ávila Mediavilla, Carlos Marcelo; 0302391628This research originates from the limited knowledge of the teaching-learning methods of the technique and the scarce application by the coaches in training sessions; thus, this research aims to identify the methodologies applied by coaches in the teaching-learning process of the technical fundamentals of speed skating, through applied research for the methodological improvement of skating technique. For this, a non-experimental, exploratory, and descriptive study was proposed. It was cross-sectional, non-probabilistic, and intentional. The population comprised 33 individuals and a census criterion, to whom an instrument validated by expert opinion with ten research variables was applied. It was found that coaches partially know and apply teaching-learning methodologies of speed skating in such a way that 46% of respondents know and apply the demonstrative-explanatory methodology. Additionally, Chi-Square statistical tests were performed with values lower than the p-value of 0.05 (Bilateral Asymptotic Sig. 0.000 < 0.05), confirming statistically significant dependencies that provide certainty of improvements in the performance of speed skating sports practices. It is concluded that coaches know and apply the methodologies; however, bivariate dependencies should be taken into account to improve professional performance indicators significantly.
