Technology has gained increasing importance in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders. The tools used for diagnosing ADHD have shown promise in improving the accuracy and objectivity of clinical assessments. They include computerized neuropsychological testing, visual attention tracking, and physical activity monitoring, helping to differentiate ADHD from other disorders. Objective: To conduct a bibliographic review regarding new technologies usage in diagnosing and treating ADHD in children. Methodology: A descriptive qualitative bibliographic review of several scientific studies focused on using new technologies for diagnosing and treating ADHD in children. Results: Through this study, it was possible to know how new technologies are employed as diagnostic and treatment tools in children with ADHD, identifying the AULA tool for the diagnosis of ADHD, as well as the application called Brain HQ, which reflects excellent results due to its diversity of games that help neuroplasticity for this pathology. Conclusion: New technologies can ease the detection processes and, in some cases, help with ADHD treatment. This revolutionizes medical care by enabling remote diagnoses, real-time monitoring, and other applications that were previously unthinkable. Digital health can enhance the efficacy of diagnosis and treatment.
