This research project aims to design and build a prototype mobile load robot to reduce the risk of occupational diseases to workers at the “Cielo Abierto” farm during manual load transportation activities. The method used is an observational-experimental model that includes work analysis and prototype development. The study variables are load transportation and repeated movements; the population consisted of the three workers of the farm. Within the analysis process, the Ovako Working Analysis System (OWAS) ergonomic assessment method is implemented as an instrument to analyze the study population’s working postures and subsequently apply a risk matrix based on manual load handling regulations to determine the overall risk for the entire process. The risk assessment considers an initial case in which the activity is carried out only by the three workers and a second case in which the prototype is included with autonomous navigation for transporting loads, resulting in a lower risk in the second case than in the initial one.

This paper aims to analyze different social and legal factors that drive adolescents to commit crimes, particularly acts of organized crime committed in the city of Guayaquil-Ecuador. Considering that the term "delinquency" refers to the act of committing a crime, an act that is typified and sanctioned in the Organic Integral Penal Code - hereinafter COIP - the involvement of adolescents in crimes represents a complex challenge for the State and the administration of justice, in terms of prevention and rehabilitation of offenders; considering that adolescents are considered as a group of priority attention, according to the Constitution and the international treaties. It is essential to mention that the Constitutional Court of Ecuador issued its judgment No. 9-17-CN/19 on July 9, 2019, and reaffirms the existence of a specialized system of administration of justice, which was created to judge adolescents who have committed crimes. Therefore, proposing an amendment to Article 385 of the Childhood and Adolescence Code has finally become necessary regarding the socio-educational actions specified therein.

Alternativas de mediación psicológica para la coparentalidad en proceso de divorcio y determinación de Custodia.
(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2024) Torres Tenorio, Medardo; Rodríguez Reyes, María; 0105831762
The family system, characterized by its autonomy, has undergone changes in its structure and roles, influenced by external and internal factors. It is the couple who establish bonds and face challenges in coexistence, leading to difficulties that occasionally result in the dissolution of the marital bond. At this point, divorce litigation is detrimental to the mental health of both children and parents. The aim was to describe the role of mediation alternatives for co-parenting in contentious divorce processes and custody determination. The proposed design for this research was a bibliographic analysis with a qualitative descriptive approach. The relevant results highlight the priority of protecting the well-being of children, with strategies such as mediation and parental coordination offering efficient outcomes. Coparenting training is valuable for former spouses with minor children, providing them with the effectiveness of parenting plans and mediation regarding children's mental health. Advocacy for mediation interventions in high-conflict cases is emphasized, highlighting the effectiveness of parental coordination. In conclusion, mediation alternatives, crucial in conflict resolution, become relevant in processes such as divorce, impacting the mental health of the parties involved, especially children. By considering the well-being of children, mediation can mitigate negative emotional impacts and strengthen co-parenting capacity. However, its effectiveness may be limited when the judicial system fails to address anti-therapeutic aspects.

Accessibility to inclusive education for students with disabilities in Ecuador is a fundamental component aimed at promoting equal opportunities and the integral development of all individuals; despite governmental efforts and advancement to ensure this fundamental right, significant challenges persist, requiring continuous attention and concrete measures to overcome them. In this context, this descriptive study, conducted in Azogues, focuses on understanding the repercussions of the ineffective implementation of inclusive methodologies in educational units. A combination of research methods was employed to achieve this objective, including surveys, historical-logical analysis, and analytical-synthetic analysis, to examine the legal background and the practical implications of disability in the educational area. One of the most significant results of this study was the identification of significant obstacles that limit the physical accessibility of many educational units, mainly due to the lack of adaptations in facilities and the scarcity of financial resources allocated to specialized teaching materials. This situation, in turn, creates difficulties within the teaching-learning process, affecting students with disabilities and teachers. Despite having trained professionals to meet the educational requirements of this group, no adequate institutional support hinders the optimal application of their skills, leaving everyone involved parties in a vulnerable situation.
